Social Networks Action Project

Being a person who doesn't trust and have a social network account I feel that from what Matt Bowers has proven has changed my opinion on why people use and have social network accounts. I understand now how social networks operate and how and why they were created to make are society a better community.  The only reason I probably wont get a social network account is I don't want anyone posting something I might regret doing on the internet that will always be there, and no one needs to know what I am doing right now.  The only thing I am left wondering is now there are accounts of people being bullied on these socail network websights, and I am wondering can that be provented.  In conclusion, the social network presontation was well done and I learned a lot and it changed how I felt about socail network websights.

Colorado's one of the healthiest states in the United States

Colorado's arguments are how Colorado became such a healthy state are Colorado's recreational parks and their green energy program.  I feel that both contributed to how Colorado became one of the healthiest states in the United States, but the way Colorado's recreational politicians approached how they spent the money the government gave them to restore or create the parks.  By restoring the parks people noticed how nice the trails were and started to go out and check out the wilderness.  I know that Colorado is one of the healthiest states in the United States and Colorado's national parks had something to do with it.

How Colorado Became One of the Healthest States in America.

From what I have read from FDA and other web sights, the reason Colorado is one of the healthiest states in America is because of all the money we have put into building and maintaining Colorado's national parks and are large industry of green energy.  With all the money in are national parks, and biking and hiking trails Colorado citizens are compelled to head outside and check out are great national forest and ski runs.  Adding on to that, with the green energy making it easier to breath and enjoyable to go out side without a layer of muck outside.  Colorado's passion is the out doors and the Colorado people will do anything to maintain and enjoy Colorado's out doors.

The Most Dangerous Game (PLN #3)

Is hunting morally right?
In the story The Most Dangerous Game by "Richard Connell", is about a crazy war general that  loves to hunt so much he got board of hunting normal animals so he thought of a new animals to hunt.  This crazy war general lives on a weird and strange island that Rainsfords boat passes.
A hunter by the name of Rainsford is on a boat passing a mysterious island and he is in a study center in the boat and he hears a shot go off at the mysterious island and so he rushes onto the deck to see what was going on then he slips off the boat because it was very dark and foggy and he couldn't see were he was going.  He then hears another shot then starts to swim for this strange island.
Hunting people is called murder, hunting animals for food is a way of life.  It is how we live and thrive.  "Hunting? Great Guns, General Zaroff, what you speak of is murder."  Rainsford.
Hunting for competition is good fun but it can be dangerous. " That Cape buffalo is the largest I ever saw."
"Oh, that fellow. Yes, he was a monster."  The general
"Did he charge you?" Rainsford
"Hurled me against a tree," said the general. "Fractured my skull. But I got the brute." The General
"I've always thought," said Rainsford, "that the Cape buffalo is the most dangerous of all big game." Rainsford.
Is hunting morally right?  I think it is a way of life it is how we live and thrive as humans and prove how great the human race is.  Is hunting morally right?  Hunting people is called murder and we as humans out law that kind of thing we have punishments for that.  Hunting for fun is nice but it should not be legal unless you eat the thing you are killing then it is OK to hunt but it isn't OK to hunt humans.

The Extraordinary Adventures Of Alfred Kropp PLN 2

The book The Extraordinary Adventures Of Alfred Kropp.  Alfred the main character is a good person making a great mistake because he is threatened by his uncle saying that if he doesn't help him steal the sword of Alexander the great then he will send him back to foster care.  By steel in the sword his uncle is killed by the guy that bribed Alferd and his uncle to steel the sword.  Alfred then gets all hung up in this mess and ends up helping a night that was injured by bad guys.  Then begin the adventure and a race to Canada.

I can relate to Alfred because he is a freshman in high school and he plays freshman football.  Were Alfred is different from me his dad left when he was little, his mom died of cancer when he was in middle school, he lives with his uncle, he is forced to do stuff he doesn't want to, he isn't to bright, and he doesn't know what he is getting himself into.  Alfred is a troubled teen that is pushed into doing things he doesn't want to do.

Nights Of The Hill Country

Knights Of The Hill Country is a book I read over the summer by "Tim Tharp".  It is about a troubled high school Senor Playing his last year of high school football at the position he knows best, line backer.  The main character's name is Hampton he ends up wanting to hang out with a girl that everyone makes fun of.  His best friend Blaine does a lot of stupid things that Hampton doesn't like but does anyway, and some times Hampton has to grab Blaine and drag him and his friend out of those unsettling situations.  This book was one of the best books I have read in a long time and I would suggest that any football player that doesn't know what to read, then read Knight Of The Hill Country.
